The end of our Norwegian adventure is almost upon us. Thankfully the rockin and rollin of the ship knocked off in the night so it’s been a pretty smooth sailing day.

Last night we signed up for “Trek the Deck” in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. So that took place at 10:15 and saw us fighting the strong North Sea wind to complete 15 laps of Deck 16. Such a worthy cause and to take a small amount of time out of our holiday to help is worth every minute we spent doing it.

After that we checked in to Part 2 of Phil Holt’s talk on the RAF Red Arrows. Learning how they train and how they win competition after competition when they are put up against the other 3 top aerial acrobatics teams in the world.

Today for the first time we headed over to the Peninsular restaurant for lunch. This is my 9th Cruise and the first time I’ve ever done that! I like it and if you’re normally a buffet luncher then I encourage you to give it a go, especially on a sea day.

The afternoon just saw us laze around in the public lounges, mainly the Blue Bar. At 2pm we had the “Great British Sail Along”. Due to the weather and noise restrictions in some of the Norwegian ports we not able to have it at Sailaway. Today’s Sail Along was planned for the Lido Deck but with it being so windy it got moved to the Atrium.

Back to the cabin after that, to do that sad task of packing. Somehow not only have I grown this week (with all the food I’ve eaten) so have my clothes, I struggled to get them all back in my case.

Tonight I type from the Peninsular restaurant before my WiFi time runs out but next we are off to the Planet Bar (just for a change 😂) before we put those cases in the corridor and drift off to the land of nod for our Southampton arrival.

I disembark about 9:15am tomorrow, must remember to change the time on my phone before I go to bed.

Thanks again to everyone who has read my blog posts all week, I hope you’ll tell everyone about them. I shall put up a Cruise summary blog post in a few days time and a review of my cabin.

Please like and share my post it would be great to get my followers up, I’m still relatively new to all this.
